Our Caro insurance agency is looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized individual to join our team as an Office Assistant. No prior insurance experience is required—we're willing to train the right person!

This position is a great starting point for someone who enjoys working with people, providing excellent customer service, and learning new skills.

For the right candidate, this role offers the opportunity to pursue a Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license and potentially grow into an Insurance Representative position.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to current and prospective customers.
• Schedule appointments for licensed insurance representatives.
• Follow up with customers regarding appointments, requests, and needed information.
• Answer incoming phone calls and direct customers to the appropriate team member.
• Accept and process customer payments accurately.
• Organize, scan, file, and maintain customer documents and records.
• Update customer information and maintain accurate electronic files.
• Assist with general office duties and daily administrative tasks.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service over the phone and in person.
• Support licensed insurance staff with administrative tasks and customer follow-ups.
• Maintain the confidentiality of customer information and agency records.
• Learn agency procedures, software, and workflows.
• Assist with keeping the office organized and running efficiently.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn about insurance products and agency operations.
• Pursue opportunities for professional development, including the potential to obtain a Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license and advance into an Insurance Representative role.
